Black, black and more black. The powerful neo-health-goth attitude of Vera Wang’s spring collection called for makeup with a no-nonsense approach. Layered monochrome black and grey clothes with high fashion cutouts and peplums gave a fresh take on the formal yet still highly functional trend. Lucia Pieroni, lead artist at Clé de Peau Beauté, delivered with a look that was all about luminous skin and a light dusting of color on eyes and cheeks–a sort of post-workout glow for the slacker cyberpunk crowd.

How to get the luminous look:
- Well-hydrated skin is the key. Clé de Peau Beauté artists paired the right moisturizer with each model’s skin type, often reaching for the Energizing Cream, followed by a touch of concealer. (Look for the new Radiant Stick Foundation with SPF 17 next Spring.)
2. Lids are brushed with a gorgeous earth-toned shadow, new color duo #102—plus a light coat of mascara, and a touch of eye pencil to fill in any blank spots on brows.
3. New cream blush #2 was applied sparingly along the natural line of the cheekbones.
3. Enriched Lip Luminizer in a deep shade of pink adds the finishing touch. (If this is your first luminizer, don’t forget the holder.)
In tandem with the minimalist makeup, Moraccanoil stylists opted for hair that was loose and flowing. Key products included Moraccanoil Treatment, Heat-Styling Protection Spray and Smoothing Lotion (which is designed as a blow-dry concentrate, but doubles as a finishing product to tame frizz).
Nails by JINsoon got a two-tone treatment with a base coat of light rose overlaid with a dark stripe over the top.
