New York Fashion Week Spring 2017 is in full swing, and street style has never looked better. Here are a few of our favorite (shoppable!) looks from NYFW, captured by our gimlet-eyed street-style reporter Kristin Yamada, that we plan on emulating posthaste.
Consider Dasha Gold’s look here an advanced class on how to wear texture. Soft tufts on the sleeves, speckled floral lace and fringed sandals sound over-the-top, but within this sophisticated palette (and with such exquisite pieces) Dasha shows how it’s done Down Under.

This floral dress paired with a rugged jacket perfectly suits all seasonal moods and may even cure a bout of SAD. Vogue fashion news director Chioma Nnadi looks like pure joy (that smile!) in this frock featuring delicate blooms in a bubblegum color. Topped with suede in an autumnal shade, Chioma lands both a cheery and street-smart look. A feat indeed.

Avenue 32 founder and CEO Roberta Benteler has us rethinking fall dressing. A ribbed sweater with a wrap skirt looks lovely and is such an easy-to-wear style to transition seasons. Her elongated sleeves up the flowing quality of this ensemble, so that her clothes seem to be cascading around her. The ribs on the sweater provide some cool pattern clash and that white pump is shaping up to be the shoe of this season.

Spanish blogger Gala Gonzalez chooses classic pieces but gives them a vintage ’70s bent for a look that checks all the boxes. These houndstooth trousers will endure time and trends. Paired with a white tissue tee and leather backpack, Roberta creates a schoolgirlish vibe that feels fresh. We’re even noting her clean black shades, which seem like a must-have style of sunnies.
