Milan Fashion Week Spring 2017 is upon us, and we can’t wait to see the street style in the Italian fashion hub. Here are some of our favorite (shoppable!) looks from MFW so far—captured by our gimlet-eyed street-style reporter Kristin Yamada—that we plan on emulating posthaste.
Stylist and blogger Fil Xiaobai is beloved for her changing street-style persona. From season to season, her look can alter so dramatically as to make her unrecognizable. For the MFW Gucci show, the fashion chameleon assembled a perfect geek chic look: Marmont loafers, a ruffle blouse and suit, plus those amazing lenses. We kind of hope this style sticks.

As the art director of Kabuki Paris, Elina Malimi steers the creative vision of one of the world’s premiere high-fashion boutiques. So spotting her on the street is always a lesson in dressing. Her exaggerated bell sleeves paired with an ultra wide-leg pant would intimidate lesser fashion forces, but Elina pulls it off by pulling her hair back and putting on a heel to keep the lines sleek.

This is such a laid-back but lovely look. Black denim puts a cool girl foundation on Russian designer and stylist Natasha Goldenberg’s preppy pussy bow blouse. Her embellished military-style jacket adds a boyish polish to her otherwise civilian clothes.

On any given day, certainly no less during Fashion Week, London buyer Tiffany Hsu can’t take two steps without being photographed–and especially not in those stunning Gucci platforms, which put a well-heeled spin on her pretty casual jeans and tee getup.
