London Fashion Week Street Style

Photos by Kristin Yamada

London Fashion Week Spring 2017 is coming to a close, and we’ll be sad to see the street style go. Here are a few more of our favorite (shoppable!) looks from LFW—captured by our gimlet-eyed street-style reporter Kristin Yamada—that we plan on emulating posthaste.

Delfina Delletrez at London Fashion Week Spring 2017

Crazy talented jewelry designer Delfina Delletrez has an undeniable flair for the dramatic–she is a member of the Fendi family after all. Expressed in exaggerated cuts, her black and white getup is anything but basic. Tapered platform sandals, leather pants and a high-neck blouse play with the proportion of these classic styles uniquely interpreted.

Poppy Delevingne at London Fashion Week Spring 2017

Sure, it’s doesn’t take much to make one of the Delevingne sisters look great. Nevertheless Poppy deserves props for this playful outfit. With disregard for boring color coordination, the model pulls together fun fall elements like suede, knit and metallic embellishment under the singular theme of mod British style.

Tamara Kalinic at London Fashion Week Spring 2017

We love the structured ruffle on Tamara Kalinic’s dress. Romantic yet unsentimental, this rose shift interprets the flounce for fall. The addition of a studded bootie–and another textural element–shows that the British blogger knows how to be a truly dimensional dresser.

Ella Hunt at London Fashion Week Spring 2017

Actress Ella Hunt provides a lovely example of combining wardrobe basics into a sophisticated go-anywhere outfit. A silk georgette blouse always looks elegant. The same goes for a simple black trouser and a strappy sandal. Combined, this is a style that works on the street, in the office or for dinner at a five-star restaurant. Her pretty ponytail puts the polish on the look that will solve your clothing quandaries this fall.
