Gimlet-eyed Kristin Yamada is busy snapping street-style starlets during Fashion Week. Here are her photos to inspire you for next season (or this one), and some wardrobe picks to help you get the look.
Chelsea Leyland is back on our street style spotlight in New York with this playful nautical number. The sailor pant is a huge theme in bottoms and I’m digging the width mixing of her graphic stripes. A cute red mini bag and mismatched earrings complete the look. Thanks, Chelsea!

These two are unstoppable! There is so much amazingness going on here between Celine Aagaard and pal Annabel Rosendahl. Too sophisticated to be completely matchy-matchy, Celine and Annabel are just the right amount coordinated playing off each other in metallics. Celine’s jacket is a fantastic statement piece and Annabel plays it cool with a pop clutch. Annabel’s crop denim flares are super trendy paired with leopard prints boots. And on Celine we’ve got the massively popular, seasonal must-have turtleneck. Gals, you make it look too easy!

Dasha Denisenko is rocking some cozy and killer model-off-duty style. I love that she has so many textures working together at once, from the weave of her coat, to the fuzz and fringe of that awesomely oversized scarf, to her ribbed beanie. My favorite piece of all though is those tough-girl hikers. I am relying on a very, very similar pair to carry me through the streets all fashion month long!

Blogging sisters Cailli and Sam are The Beckerman Twins (Beckerman Blog). And the wonderful thing about these gals’ style is just how much they just let themselves have fun. They love color and pattern and usually are almost impossible to miss coming your way. These are the subtlest looks I’ve seen them in which is unexpected and cool. The MA1 bomber continues to trend steady and relaxed denim jeans make for a laid-back, easy compliment. Being who they are, the girls definitely had to spice it up somehow and here they’ve gone with statement bags, funky shoes and their choice pair of sunnies.
