pastels with plenty of pop, the brand is forecasting a very sunny season. And as it was a very sunny day here in Manhattan, the mood felt especially on point. (Though come to think of it, these are the kinds of pieces you want on hand for dreary grey-sky afternoons too.)
Speaking of mood: second only to the happy vibe the collection itself emitted was the beauty of the buckets and buckets and buckets of flowers that filled the room.
Not only were they wedged in around the models who stood smiling on the risers, they were placed around the room (amid waiters with Champagne and mini bagels) so that buyers, editors and bloggers could bundle up a bunch and take them along for the rest of the day.
The only issue being where they’d stash them as they juggled cell phone, camera and the next show’s tickets. Makes you wonder if the spade squad shouldn’t find a way to tuck a bouquet into one of their charming little clutches.
