Sexy, effortless beauty was the look at Jason Wu’s Spring/Summer 2015 show, where Lancôme skincare and makeup were used to create creamy, dewy skin and a soft, smoky eye.
The eyes were the focus, softly shaded with natural, curled lashes. A sienna cream shadow was lightly applied to the eyelids, and a brown eyeliner was used underneath and around the eye.
Our favorite application tip we saw today: artists used cotton swabs dabbed with moisturizer to remove some of the liner, leaving behind a sheer residue. The effect was a smoky eye that was sexy but approachable. Hydrated, glowing skin and matte bare lips perfectly complemented the eyes.
We visited with Deborah Lippmann, who finished off each model with “fresh, barely there” nails. She applied two coats of Lancôme Beige Romance, with a super shiny top coat on short, round-tipped nails, for a look that’s “like your natural nail, but better”.
Just like Wu’s fashion, the makeup and nails were chic and feminine. We officially can’t wait for Spring!
