The embellishments that Belgian designer Raf Simons makes to adidas shoes are sometimes drastic and other times, like with these Stan Smiths, subtle. These sneakers show Simons’s cheekiness and characteristic flair as a designer (three straps instead of three stripes; the printing on the footbed is the same font as his namesake line), while retaining the blank canvas appeal of the Stan Smith.
