Your AstroTwins Weekly Horoscope for February 9-13

Life has plenty of variables. Wouldn’t it be radical if the weekend was a knowable thing? Well hold on, because it just got a lot more knowable-able. We’re psyched to help you cue up and dial in your Saturday and Sunday via these new weekday/weekend horoscopes from Olivia Kim’s favorite astrologers, the AstroTwins.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Camp out at the Apple Store, price out diving trips for the Great Barrier Reef, and hit the delete button on that annoying ex’s contact file. This Wednesday, February 11, Mercury turns direct after a three week retrograde through Aquarius. Can we get a “Hallelujah”?! Since January 21, we’ve been in the crosshairs of Mercury retrograde, a time notorious for technical difficulties, communication breakdowns and unfortunate flashbacks with a “somebody that I used to know.” This one’s been a double whammy since it took place in Aquarius, the sign that governs technology and friendship. Caramba! As Mercury corrects its course we can heave a sigh of relief and get back to conflict-free thumbtyping once again. (Here’s hoping you didn’t send a naughty Snapchat to the wrong recipient or a snarky email to the entire office.)

Mercury will power forward through Aquarius until March 12, giving us the green light to update our devices, launch online ventures, and to make the final draft picks for our dream teams. This is also a brilliant time for brainstorming or to start developing inventions. Geek is chic while Mercury is direct in Aquarius! When socializing, look for a meeting of the minds and a spark of shared intellectual curiosity. One caveat to all the launching enthusiasm: the shadow of Mercury retrograde will linger until March 4, when Mercury orbits to 17 degrees Aquarius — the degree it was stationed at when it began its backspin. The coast will be one hundred percent clear for new initiatives then, but we can start making progress and building momentum after this Wednesday.

Valentine’s Day is Saturday — and Cupid’s game plan is a little bit “schizo” this year. The moon will be in adventurous, freewheeling Sagittarius until the late afternoon making it hard for many of us to get into full-on romantic spirits. An active (even athletic) adventure could be a great way to spend the day. Traveling for V-Day also gets the thumbs up. But don’t venture too far off the grid (or away from the ‘schmancy restaurants). Near dusk, la luna moves on to traditional Capricorn, turning the whole affair into a Hallmark holiday for many of us. Fete St. Valentine with proper respect. Indulge in the red roses, bonbons and dress-up dates, whether you’re hitting the town with your honey or hanging with a posse of single friends. Staying home to watch “The Notebook” is NOT an option!

The countdown to Valentine’s Day is on — but why wait for Saturday to get your satisfaction? Cupid’s most innovative arrows strike on Monday the 9th, when the moon in Libra (your partnership sign) forms a golden trine to the Aquarius Sun. You’ve never been one to follow a script, Aries, and your romantic life is no exception. Put yourself back in the director’s chair and rewrite the classic love story that it works for you. For example, maybe you’re the type of Ram who really, REALLY needs your space. Your white picket fantasy may include side-by-side houses, or your own wing — the arrangement our Aries aunt Roz has set up for herself. This transit could also get the wheels a-turning on a couple’s collaboration: maybe you’ll get a band going or start a web-based business together. A little Googling could spawn some off-the-Hallmark-path V-Day ideas like a dinner theater with audience participation or climbing to a space observatory to check out the stars. Presently unattached? With the techie Aquarius Sun nudging la luna, the right right-swipe could land you a Valentine…or at least a pre-Valentine. (That day is SO full of pressure!) Why not pick up the social organizer’s baton and get a Single And Loving It crew together to celebrate on Saturday? The Lonely Hearts Club can cry in their cookie dough ice cream without you.

Speaking of your crew, there may have been some rocky moments with your entourage since January 21. Chalk it up to Mercury’s retrograde through Aquarius and your collaborative eleventh house. Technical difficulties may have come double-time during this retrograde, frustrating you and everyone wired up to the same network. Here’s hoping you didn’t have to replace an expensive gadget — or a key collaborator. On Wednesday, you can heave a sigh of relief. Mercury resumes forward motion, helping you smooth over the communication meltdowns, rally the troops and simply enjoy being social again. If you reunited with pals from your past, you may find that the synergies cool — unless there’s a clear role for them in your next narrative arc. As great as it was to get back into contact, your focus turns to the future once again. Web-based projects and online ventures get the green light for development — without the signal scrambling of Mercury retrograde bugging up the process. Just note that the shadow of Mercury retrograde won’t clear until March 4, so you might wait until then to hit the launch button on your digital endeavors.

As for Saturday, get the celebrations started early. The moon will linger in Sagittarius until midafternoon — your adventurous, shoot-from-the-hip ninth house. Jetting off for a day trip with friends or your love interest could be the perfect way to celebrate. You might even add an athletic component like a snowy hike or some slope-time followed by dinner at the roaring fireplace of a ski lodge. As dusk settles, the moon moves on to Capricorn and your traditional tenth house. You might just get a hit of those Hallmark vibes after all, so indulge in a few of the schmaltzy aspects of the day. Dress up and enjoy! You deserve at least a dozen red roses, even if you’re buying that bouquet for yourself in the name of self-love.

It’s raining pearls! Of wisdom, that is… The world is your oyster this Monday, February 9, as the Sun and moon form a flowing trine (harmonious 60-degree angle) in the most adventurous parts of your chart. You’re eager to expand your knowledge base and discover what the kids are doing in other cities, continents even. Binge-surf the travel blogs or wander over to the bookstore on your lunch break. A title could “fall off the shelf” early this week — one that has the exact message that you need to read. Pay attention to the flyers pinned up at the local café, juice bar or yoga studio. An intriguing lecture could pique both your intellectual and spiritual curiosity. It’s worth it to go, Aquarius, if only to try on a new concept and see if it’s a good fit for you. You’ll feel motivated to plan a mid-winter getaway too. Lounging at a resort can only satisfy you for so long. Look into retreats or vacations that have a spiritual or educational component.

Just try to wait until Wednesday to hit the “Reserve Now” button for your pilgrimage. Mercury will effectively end its three week retrograde that day, giving you the green light to book travel without the worry of technical difficulties and communication breakdowns. (You wanted a boutique hotel with beach views; they placed you in a rustic palapa with a shared bathroom. Caramba!) You, of all signs, will be grateful for Mercury’s U-Turn, since this retrograde also happened to take place in Aquarius. Since January 21, you’ve had a less-than-stellar time getting your point across. Personal projects may have stalled or you may have felt reticent about sharing your ideas with friends and family. But as Mercury corrects its course on Wednesday — and speeds in the direction of progress until March 12 — you can shout your grand plans from the mountaintops again. You’ve probably also learned the downside of being too nice. If people aren’t walking over you, they might be passing over you for opportunities that you KNOW you can nail. The squeaking wheel gets the oil, Aquarius. If you know you’re the man or woman for the job, state your case in the second half of the week.

Pick up a whole stack of Valentines instead of just one card. The moon starts off in Sagittarius and your “the more, the merrier” eleventh house this Saturday, February 14. You of all people understand that love comes in many forms. (Hey, it was Aquarius Bob Marley who wrote the “One Love” anthem.) Besides, you hate the idea of anyone ever feeling left out or bummed out and this day is notorious for bringing as many lows as there are highs. Shower your friends with adoration, especially the single ones. Brunch at the giant community table and a massive group hug is just what Cupid ordered. Near dusk, la luna grooves into your dreamy, soulful twelfth house inspiring a more intimate form of celebration. Is there someone special in your life? Turn the evening into a sweet escape — dinner at an ambient restaurant, tickets to an electronic music show or Cirque du Soleil. Or set up a sweet surprise at home. Think like a Broadway director: lights, textures, music…and hey, even cameras, if that’s your thing.

You’re racking up the loyalty points as the week begins, Cancer — but not with your favorite shopping site. With the Sun and moon gliding harmoniously through the most intimate zones of your chart, it’s your friends and family who get the benefit of your emotional investment. On Monday the 9th, make a short list of people with whom you’d like to foster a stronger connection. Then, set up one-on-ones — drinks with your best friend from college, lunch with that cool guy at the office who seems like BFF material, brunch with your sister over the weekend. Is a loved one in a jam? Stepping in for the Best Supporting role will feel so rewarding early this week. If family bonding is your thing (hey, you ARE a Cancer), how about hosting a midweek meal or a Sunday night potluck supper? Consider yourself the “crew glue,” Cancer. The gestures you make to rally your relatives or close friends could start a heartwarming trend. Download Keith Ferrazi’s Never Eat Alone for your tablet — a business bestseller about the power of relationships.

That said, a few of you crabs may be feeling gun-shy about getting closer to people. With Mercury retrograde in your intimate eighth house since January 21, we can’t blame you if you tucked way back into your shell. Someone may have betrayed your trust or confidence over the past few weeks. Even a small slight could have felt like a sucker punch during Mercury’s sensitive backspin. Perhaps you gave your trust to a lover who treated you carelessly or let a toxic ex creep back in. This is enough to make anyone hesitate — especially an emotional soul like you. But don’t give up on the human race, Cancer. This Wednesday, Mercury makes a U-turn and resumes direct motion again. The messenger planet will speed forward through your eighth house until March 12, helping you repair rifts and try, try again. Relationships that ARE worthy of your time could deepen. As you bond tighter than Krazy Glue, talks could even turn to exclusivity. It might just be time to put a ring — or some ink — on it and make a partnership permanent.

Valentine’s Day 2015 will NOT disappoint — at least not for the second half of the celebrations. Around dusk, the moon heads into Capricorn and your seventh house of relationships, bringing an extra quiver of golden-tipped arrows with your name on them. You’ll be ready to surrender to the arms of love then — or go forth and flirt like a seasoned pick-up artist. You could find a keeper under this lunar light. But earlier in the day, the moon will be in Sagittarius and your fussy, perfectionistic sixth house. Getting too hung up on V-Day going “just so” could spoil the romance and even cause some squabbling with your Valentine. Don’t forget, there are TWO of you involved in setting up the date. Go easy on the surprises and plan your celebration together. Don’t forget: a simpler plan leaves room for spontaneity. Maybe you’d rather be peeling each other’s clothes off instead of seeing a show after dinner anyway.

Corral your inner sparklepony, Capricorn, and get focused. Monday’s ambitious Sun-moon trine paves the way for productivity. This burst of career momentum drives you to tie up loose ends (at last!). It also helps you connect more emotionally to the work that you do. If you’re feeling less than passionate as you sit at your desk, create a project that actually interests you. Self-starter that you are, it helps to have an independent mission to reign over. You’d rather be busy than be bored! Check your spending habits too. Have you become overly practical and austere? What’s the point of working as hard as you do if you never allow yourself to enjoy your earnings? Earmark a little cash for luxury early this week. Work within your budget, of course. But even splurging on something small, like a decadent meal or a leather clutch, can keep you motivated to plug away towards your larger goals.

Speaking of cash flow, this Wednesday, Mercury ends a three-week retrograde through Aquarius and your second house of finances. Since January 21, you may have weathered some unfortunate surprises: bills coming due that you completely forgot about, checks lost in the mail, even bank screw-ups that brought fees or stalled payments. Communication with coworkers was not the smoothest either. As Mercury corrects its course this Wednesday, you’ll FINALLY be able to map out a sensible budget and stick to it. And you can do so without tightening your belt so much that you cut off circulation to your reward centers! Better still, Mercury will power forward through Aquarius until March 12 giving you lots of energy for professional growth. Let the networking spree commence! Mercury governs communication, and socializing with the right people could lead to profitable collaborations this spring. Invest in your own self-development if there’s a gap between where you are now professionally and where you’d like to be. Sessions with a business coach, branding specialist, a workshop or that killer meeting blazer can make all the difference.

Onwards to Valentine’s Day, where you are a star in Cupid’s show! Although Saturday the 14th begins with a sleepy twelfth house moon, la luna shifts into Capricorn late afternoon, guaranteeing an exciting evening of amour. Start the day off with breakfast in bed or a leisurely spa treatment. If you’re still dwelling on an ex, you might even do a ceremonial purging. Write a letter and burn it (safely) or remove those last “sentimental objects” from your home for good. You want your energy relaxed, open and clear when the moon heads into Capricorn for the night — and the rest of the weekend. Just because you wake up feeling sluggish Saturday morning doesn’t mean you should cancel your energetic night on the town. You’ll be a restless romantic after sundown; in fact, single Caps might have the wildest tales to tell come Sunday morning. (Rockstud pumps and LBD? Check!) Coupled Caps, this V-Day is all about the new. Skip “the usual places” and opt for adventure. Have drinks at the skybar in a city’s tallest building, get tickets to a live concert or DJ show, or pack an overnight bag and take a drive to an unexplored area fifty miles out of town.

No guts, no glory, Gemini. With Monday’s confidence-boosting trine between the Sun and moon, it’s time to self-promote. Don’t feel “ready” yet? You can deliberate endlessly, tweaking and obsessing over your work. The trouble is, an important window of time may pass while you’re busy playing perfectionist. If you’re not prepared to make your BIG reveal (which might be best timed after Mercury turns direct midweek, anyway), at least give people a teaser. Start a “coming soon” buzz on social media. Putting a little pressure on yourself to produce can force you to finish up a project that is ready to be sent out into the world. You might also rally a respected crew of friends and colleagues for a focus group. Getting their candid feedback will be illuminating and encouraging.

On Wednesday, put the Veuve on ice and get ready to celebrate. Your ruling planet Mercury officially ends its three-week retrograde, freeing you up from its signal-scrambling crosshairs. With this Mercury backspin happening in Aquarius and your honest-to-a-fault ninth house, you’ve probably had your share of “open mouth, insert disco platform” moments. If you’re wondering why a certain someone isn’t calling you back, consider that you might have been a bit too heavy-handed with your advice or commentary. Offer the olive branch and hopefully you’ll get a chance to smooth over those feathers you ruffled with your candor. Waiting for the right time to plan your mid-winter break? Start that Pinboard of tropical and warm-weather photos. From So-Cal coast to a holistic spa in Ubud, you have the green light to book your tickets. Heads up: the shadow of Mercury retrograde lingers until March 4, so if you can bear to wait a few more weeks, you’ll have the smoothest departure after then. Signals may have scrambled with a long-distance friend or contact. Call off the carrier pigeons and close What’s App. A face-to-face hangout — or longer Skype call (video enabled for eye contact) — is the only way to go when you want to clear the air.

If Mercury’s U-turn doesn’t get you swinging from the chandeliers like Sia, here’s more good news. Cupid is SO in your corner this V-Day. On Saturday the 14th, the moon will move through Sagittarius and Capricorn, the governors of your relationship houses. A percolating attraction or casual dating situation could turn into a full-blown love affair. If you’re single, don’t sit home watching depressing rom-coms starring Meg Ryan or Jennifer Lopez. Go out with the friends you love most — the ones who also make great wing(wo)men. You stand a good chance of meeting a fellow lonely heart who has “keeper” written all over him or her. Already coupled up? Go full-on Gemini with the elaborate plans for your celebration. Get out and play together early in the day while the social Sagittarius moon rules the skies. As the sun starts to set, slip off for a private celebration for two. The green-eyed monster could make an appearance. Be careful not to get too heavy or morose on Saturday night. Ruminating about what might happen six months from now is a buzzkill. Enjoy the magic of the moment. “Be here now” is the sexiest V-Day mantra of them all.

Though you look great rocking the crown, Leo, this week starts off on a collaborative note. Step down from the throne o’ royal one and make it a double. The Sun and moon are auspiciously angled in your partnership houses on Monday, February 9, setting the tone for the week. Sacrifice some of that creative control to join forces with another brilliant soul. You won’t have to search far to find the ideal partner. It could be a close friend, sibling, coworker, even the person who shares your bed. Social media could also call your other half out of hiding. Post a status update or tweet. As promising as it seems, test the waters on a short-term basis. You can hash out the kinks of your working styles before getting the plaque engraved with both of your names on it.

Speaking of dynamic duos, here’s some happy news: on Wednesday, Mercury wakes up from a three week retrograde through Aquarius and your seventh house of relationships. Since January 21, love may have felt like a four-letter word with botched communication, constant quarrels and even exes flitting in and out of the frame. Figuring out if you loved them (or loved them NOT) could have changed on a moment-by-moment basis. Take heart, Leo. As Mercury corrects its course you can stop pulling petals off of the proverbial daisy and make a clear decision about the future of your romantic status. Of course, if you played the retrograde to your advantage, you may have worked the kinks out with your other half. The time has come to stop digging and rehashing. Focus on the future you want to co-create! Mercury will cruise full steam ahead through Aquarius and your relationship house until March 12 sounding the call for progress. Is it time to lawyer up? Contract negotiations may have stalled under Mercury’s backspin. Reading the fine print or even figuring out how to advocate on your own behalf could leave you in a weakened position. Don’t go DIY on important matters like these. Having an attorney’s eye might cost a little on the front end but will ensure that you don’t get ripped off when the deal is done.

Saturday is Valentine’s Day and this one starts off on a passionate, high-intensity note. Get the glamorous celebrations started early! The moon hovers in Sagittarius and your romantic fifth house until the late afternoon. Opt for breakfast at Tiffany’s rather than in bed. A colorful celebration amongst stylish revelers is what your heart will crave — arm candy optional. Indie-spirited Jupiter is in Leo until August 11, making self-love the most important form of all. If you’re single, meet your sassiest friends for a decadent brunch. While the mimosas and Croque Madames are being served, go around the table and brag about what you love most about yourself and your life. High five and toast each other’s success. Around dusk, the moon heads into Capricorn and your practical sixth house. A low-key evening might be your brand of fun: cooking a special meal at home, cuddling on the couch and appreciating your Valentine’s more enduring and dependable qualities.

No one puts Libra in the corner! In fact, how about putting your name in lights? The week is off to a theatrical start as the Sun and moon team up in your most expressive, flamboyant houses. Let the show pony out of the corral. And maybe find your inner unicorn while you’re at it. Monday is fabulous for unleashing and exploring your creative side — the wilder and weirder, the better! Don’t let yourself be passed over because you’re being modest or humble. If there were ever a day to toot your own horn, Monday is it. (One caveat: You might wait until after Wednesday — when Mercury is direct — to FULLY gallop onto the main stage.) Come on out of hiding and let people know what you’ve accomplished and what you’re capable of. This Sun-moon connection will be a heart opener too. With the moon in Libra, your love light is turned up to a megawatt beam. This is perfect for attracting a 2015 Valentine, or even getting the celebrations started early. Why not turn the festival of love into a weeklong affair? You ARE governed by amorous Venus, after all.

If Monday’s stars don’t leave you gushing like a lovestruck tween, Wednesday’s forecast will send you down that road. Mercury officially ends a rocky three-week retrograde through your fifth house of passion, romance and fame. Since January 21, you’ve had your share of drama, especially in the love department. Exes may have crept out of the woodwork, lover’s quarrels escalated, and it was hard to NOT take everything personally. But were strewn socks REALLY worthy of your Mt. Vesuvius-sized eruption? Probably not, Libra. Make amends, not excuses, if you got carried away by your emotions. Some Libras may have clammed up with Mercury in reverse, playing the friend card or refusing to make eye contact with a crush. Your courage returns after Wednesday. Hello, tigress! With Mercury cruising forward through your fifth house until March 12, you are in the driver’s seat once again. Go on — make the first move. Coupled Libras can FINALLY get the romantic vibes going again. Talks could span the range from date night activities to babymaking. One thing’s for sure: you’re ready to start co-creating positive bonding experiences once again. Reactivate that glam card while you’re at it. Libras love to be pampered and your standout style could even draw some media attention. Set up the tripod and do a photoshoot, no filters needed!

Saturday the 14th starts out on a lively note and ends on a cozy one. With the moon in your flirty, ultrasocial third house until dusk, the daytime portion of your V-Day could be the most entertaining. Hop in the car with your boo and take a road trip or enjoy a day of cultural activities like a wine tasting, tour of a chocolate factory, or meander through a gallery. Single? Cupid’s arrows are shooting all over the place on Saturday. You might enjoy a “Godiva sampler” instead of one singular flavor. If anyone has the energy to turn V-Day into a multi-date tour, it’s you, Libra. Your playful nature may dull by the evening when the moon heads into Capricorn and your home-loving fourth house. Head to the gourmet grocery store and pick up romantic dinner fixings and a great bottle of wine. If you’re single, a Girl’s Night In would be a blast. Load up on bonbons, buy every guest a red rose, and binge-watch the first season of Sex And The City. Or, how about playing Cupid? Host a dinner party for singles where each guest brings an eligible pal along. You never know, Libra. You could feel the click with a mystery guest yourself!

Can we get an “ohm,” Pisces? This week is off to a soulful start this Monday, February 9, as the Sun and moon dance together through the most spiritual houses of your chart. As you make your pencil-skirt-clad commute to work, adopt what the Buddhist’s refer to as “beginner’s mind.” As much as you possibly can, clear your thoughts of preconceived notions, expectations and assumptions. Situations — and the people involved in them — are bound to surprise you if you do. Who knew you’d underestimated them so? Rather than expecting so little of your fellow humans, set the bar a tad higher and allow them to rise to the occasion. No, you won’t be the most productive person in the office early this week. But you’ll definitely be the most creative. Reserve focused tasks for later and use Monday and Tuesday for brainstorming and research. Brilliant ideas flow in when you take the pressure off of yourself to funnel them into a plan or concrete form.

On Wednesday, Mercury rouses from a three week retrograde, clearing the air of painful miscommunications and hurt feelings. “Reality” has been a nebulous concept since Mercury slipped into reverse this January 21. You may have let your common sense slide, overlooking people’s unsavory traits. Did you swing to the opposite extreme, eyeing the world with suspicion? As Mercury flips into direct motion, you can see situations for what they truly are. And if you’ve been guilty of taking everything a little too personally, don’t worry. Mercury will be powering forward through your twelfth house until March 12 creating space for you to make amends. Hug it out, or put that much-needed boundary in place. Remember that you don’t have to ice people out completely just to set limits. But DO take a cool down period if you’ve gotten too close for comfort with someone of dubious character. Your intuition — one of your sign’s greatest assets — will be back on track again as Mercury shifts out of reverse and back into drive. What people aren’t saying can be more telling than the words slipping out of their lips. It’s up to you to read the signs and tune in to the subtle nuances now. If something feels “off,” deeper investigation is warranted. But by that same rule, pay attention to what feels RIGHT too. Over the coming month, you could sail right through opportunity’s doors simply because you trusted a knowing feeling.

Valentine’s Day is a lot like a mullet for you this year: business in the front, party in the back. With the moon in your uber-responsible tenth house until late afternoon, you can’t just float off to Cloud Nine the way you’d prefer. A man in your life may be in need of support; you could even have some work to finish up from Friday. But don’t worry, Pisces, Cupid’s arrows won’t miss you; in fact, there may be more than one firing in your direction. With the moon heading into Capricorn and your social, popular eleventh house before dusk, you could hear two (or more) proclamations of love! Single Fish will have a swimming time as this raucous, fun-loving energy could have you fielding a fleet of admirers. A friend-of-a-friend could be the most persistent bidder for your attention. (Why yes you SHOULD go to that Anti-Valentine’s Day party!) Even if you are paired up, you won’t necessarily want it to be “me and my boo” this year. Join a few other couples for a night of fun or embrace the spirit of universal love. After your dinner date with your Valentine, go meet your friends of various relationship statuses for a giant group hangout.

It’s all about who you know, Sagittarius — a lesson that is underscored by Monday’s stars. With the Sun and moon sweetly angled in the most team-spirited parts of your chart, your struggling ends when you reach out to your social network. Need advice about your next business move? Trying to find an atypical venue for your V-Day reservation? Looking for a reliable attorney to help you review a contract? Post a status update and ye shall find. Also, make a point of being open, friendly and curious while you’re out and about early this week. Despite what your mama told you, talking to strangers could reveal surprising synergies.

And if your social butterfly wings don’t start flapping on Monday, Wednesday’s forecast will get them beating against the wind. Mercury effectively ends a three-week retrograde through Aquarius this February 11 bringing back your “I Heart People” spirit, instead of the “I Hate People” bumper sticker you almost put on your car! This retrograde’s been a double-whammy for you since it took place in your third house of communication. Getting your point across — or simply getting people to LISTEN to you — has not been easy since January 21. On a positive note, you may have had more than the usual number of reunions, reconnecting to old friends, even clearing the air with a frenemy. As Mercury corrects its course this Wednesday — and speeds ahead through Aquarius until March 12, you can pick up that mic you dropped and freely express yourself again. Writing projects will take off at a gallop and it’s safe to shop for cars and mobile devices (though you might wait until the shadow of Mercury retrograde passes on March 4 to make your final selection). A stalled partnership could finally get underway. But don’t get roped into any five-year contracts or spend money to have a neon sign created with both names. Test the waters with a single project first to see how you REALLY gel. And while you may be eager to join a gym or try a class, go for the Groupon before you buy the full package. The activities that interest you in the second part of the week could bore you by the time the tulips start popping up…or simply be the springboards to something even bigger. If you’ve been squabbling with a sibling, neighbor or coworker, Mercury’s U-Turn helps you make nice. Agree to disagree instead of nitpicking each other. It’s time to focus on the common ground instead of bringing up THAT subject again.

Saturday is Valentine’s Day and YOU are Cupid’s MVP until dusk. With the moon in Sagittarius until then, the rose petals are falling at your feet. Easy now! You could verge on divalike demands if you aren’t careful. An impromptu brunch date could pop up in the morning. Coupled Archers might even be in the mood to do something sporty, like snowshoeing or skiing — and of course, you might rent a room with a roaring fireplace in the lodge for the night. Didn’t plan a date? Under this independent lunar energy you’re perfectly content to revel in your single status and flirt like an untamed tigress. Or, spend the day pampering yourself and doing activities that make YOU happy, without anyone slowing you down. Late afternoon, the moon drifts into Capricorn and your luxurious second house. Fete Cupid by enjoying life’s finer things: a lavish dinner, a night at the opera, side-by-side massages, even a horse-drawn carriage ride. Single Archers should enjoy a Cinderella story with your besties — a four course meal followed by Fifty Shades, anyone?

Feelings may not be facts, Scorpio — but they should be respected. Your intuition is heightened as the week starts off, thanks to Monday’s free-flowing angle between the Sun and moon. If you sense something, say something. You’ve always had a knack for picking up on unspoken vibes. Trust your gut on Monday. A coworker may be in crisis, a friend on the verge of a meltdown. But they might be feeling too embarrassed to admit it, or fearful of “burdening” other people by opening up. (Can you relate or what, Scorpio?) Simply checking in and showing that you care will make a huge difference. And if you have to set aside a little extra time to listen, so be it. Cheering people up is not an entirely selfless move. The Institute of Heartmath (http://ift.tt/XGvebW) has proven that the heart actually sends electromagnetic waves to the brain — and these can extend several feet outside of the body. Your officemate’s salty mood could be as infectious as a flu bug, as it turns out.

If you’re the one with the blues, it could be faster to FEEL your way out of that slump than to think your way out. Fortunately, tuning into the wisdom of your heart gets a lot easier after Wednesday when Mercury ends a three-week retrograde through your ultrasensitive fourth house. If you’ve been moodier than usual since Mercury’s backspin began on January 21, we wouldn’t be surprised. Sharing space could have been extra stressful and you may have locked horns with a close female friend or relative. This Wednesday, February 11, Mercury corrects its course and helps you smooth out the communication wrinkles. If you’re feeling stressed, The Heartmath Institute suggests taking ten seconds to focus on the area around your heart. As you do, recall a positive time in your life and try to feel it fully. You could even ask your heart for advice about what to do in that situation. These small, simple acts can create a change within your body. Hello, sunshine! With Mercury’s proactive U-turn, you can get back on the ball with housing issues too. Pick up the reins on that renovation, plant the For Sale sign on your property or start apartment hunting again. With Mercury flowing through your domestic fourth house until March 12, hosting out-of-town guests or a lavish dinner party would be super enjoyable.

Saturday starts off on a sensual note and ends on a restless one. If you’re the type who goes all out for Cupid then plan accordingly with a decadent morning and an active night. Since you have all week to inform your Valentine of your, ahem, preferences, do drop some hints. You know you can be rather particular, Scorpio. What’s your favorite salted caramel confection? Is there a luxe brunch spot where you’d like to reserve a two-top? And would you prefer this astrologically-appropriate Black Baccara rose to the standard crimson? http://ift.tt/1C9ALLE. Don’t expect others to be mind readers just because YOU have special psychic powers. The “just the two of us” vibes are also an early-in-the-day thing too. By dusk, cuddling could feel claustrophobic. Meet other couples — or a group of friends of varying relationship statuses — for a festive night on the town. You might even steal a couple of Cupid’s arrows and play matchmaker yourself. Single? A friend-of-a-friend could cozy up next to you for the evening, which could turn into a fun hookup if nothing else.

Pop on the project manager’s chapeau. With Monday’s industrious Sun-moon trine, you’ll start the week off in a results-oriented groove. You do best when you’re operating from a plan, not stabbing in the dark or spinning your wheels trying this, that and the other thing. Sit down and work out a plan: what budget, timeline and people power will REALLY go into pulling this off? Err on the conservative side with your estimations. Just don’t veer to the perfectionist’s extreme. While you like everything to be done “just so,” fussing over the bells and whistles can slow you down. Could you streamline and simplify without compromising the integrity of your plan? Producing something tangible — and masterful — should be a goal, even if it’s just a smaller scale version of your final product. It’s a lot easier to sell people on your ideas when you can SHOW and tell.

And do drop that powersuit at the dry cleaner’s early this week. On Wednesday, Mercury snaps out of retrograde mode and powers forward in your tenth house of ambition once again. The fleet-footed messenger planet has been driving in reverse since January 21, stalling a few of your ambitious goals, and forcing you to do more research before you could launch your grand schemes. Getting the VIPs to call or write you back has been tough too; in fact, you might just scream if a meeting gets rescheduled one more time! But don’t throw in the towel, Taurus. From Wednesday until March 12, Mercury will cruise in direct motion through your career zone. This gives you ample opportunities to wow the influencers, polish up presentations, pitch projects, and even land a long-overdue promotion. Your relationship with an important man gets back into an easier flow after Wednesday too. Your communication has been prickly for the past few weeks with more than just the average amount of misunderstandings. Clearing the air might not happen overnight (the shadow of Mercury retro lingers until March 4), but you can extend the olive branch midweek.

Valentine’s Day is Saturday, and yours could kick off on a rather intense note. With the moon in your private and intimate eighth house until the late afternoon, you won’t have patience to battle the brunch crowds. Prep the silver trays — and maybe the fur-lined handcuffs. Breakfast in bed could be the precursor to a deliciously seductive morning. You want ALL the attention, but you’re willing to give as good as you get. Talks could even turn to deeper matters: when to move in together, get engaged, or buy property as a pair? Beware the green-eyed monster though. If you don’t feel properly feted by your 2015 Valentine, things could turn ugly. Some harsh words could fly out of your mouth, ones you may regret by next week. Try to remember that Valentine’s Day does not have to be the measuring stick for an entire relationship. As a Taurus, you’re a traditional romantic, but your partner may have other ideas (even an eye roll) about this whole “Hallmark holiday B.S.” The good news is, just before dusk, the moon drifts into Capricorn and your fun loving, adventurous ninth house. Shake off the heavy vibes of the early part of the day and get dressed for a night on the town. The ninth house rules travel, so you might drive twenty miles for dinner and dancing, even opting for a spontaneous overnight at a cute hotel. Single Bulls could make eyes at someone from a different cultural background. You’ll be attracted to people who stand out in the crowd, and are “different” (at least on the surface) than you.

Bring on the lifehacks! Before you dive into “do, do, do” mode, pause to put some savvier systems into place. Although your sign has a rep for being detail-oriented, your desire to take on new projects can lead to major disorganization. With the Sun and moon sweetly angled in the most practical zones of your chart this Monday, February 9, take what efficiency expert Dan Sullivan refers to as a “buffer day.” Sort through that stack of mail, return phone calls and emails and essentially clear out psychic space by getting all those “little things” handled. Then, take a look at your average day — you might even write it out to make this easier. Do you find yourself bouncing around between disparate tasks, getting scattered and thrown off track? Try grouping like with like. For example, pick blocks of time for checking email and others where you go offline to concentrate fully on more creative or focused work. You might even realize that it’s time to hire an assistant or search for apps and devices that can manage everything from appointments to tracking your time, food, and fitness.

Speaking of healthy living, those spin classes and trainer sessions may have slipped off your schedule over the past few weeks thanks to Mercury’s retrograde through your sixth house of wellbeing. If sugar and coffee are fast becoming primary food groups as you “energize” through your busy days, fear not. This Wednesday, Mercury flips back into direct motion, helping to restore your clean, green approach to living. A few stress-inducing daily activities may get the heave-ho this week. You can’t be all things to all people, Virgo. Scale back and simplify so you can spend your waking hours doing activities that you love, not things that drain you. Scrambled signals with coworkers and assistants will ease up too. Pull Team Virgo together for a pow-wow to get everyone organized and back on the same page.

Divide your Valentine’s Day into two parts, reserving the romantic adventures for the evening. Until dusk, the moon hovers in Sagittarius and your cozy, feminine fourth house. Kick the party off with some entertaining girlfriend time. Make like Hannah, Jessa, Marnie and Shoshanna — or maybe Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda — and gather for brunch and juicy updates. Snag those tickets early! A matinee opening of “Fifty Shades Of Grey” can get you in the mood for the moon’s move into Capricorn and your passionate, flamboyant fifth house late afternoon. Or, skip the movie and go for a day of pampering: mani-pedis, a blowout, shopping for a hot little number to wear for the night. If you’ve scored some arm candy, show ‘em off with an oh-so-fancy night on the town. Single? Who cares! Glam yourself up and dance the night away. With the moon in your fifth house, you will be the spotlight queen — and wholly in-demand. Game on!
