Our t.b.d. Team’s Top-5 Essentials: #2, A Laid-Back Sweatshirt

The Thread spent a day out in the city with a handful of our friends from the t.b.d. Department’s buying team. We came with a camera, and they came with their favorite piece for fall and beyond—not to mention enough style to stop a train. Here’s how five fashion-savvy ladies create unique, personalized looks by incorporating different wardrobe essentials that are modern, mixable and full of classic cool.

Ribicca checks off the second item on the must-have list. With a few well-chosen accessories and a utilitarian-inspired skirt, she schools us on how to take a laid-back sweater a few steps fashion-forward.

What I Do: I’m currently an intern in the t.b.d Department. During my internship this summer, I have had the opportunity to work with an amazing group of people, and I get to work on cool projects that have enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of the department as well as the company.

My Style: I would describe my style as bold. I like to incorporate a lot of color and prints in my wardrobe; it’s my way of dealing with all the gray days we have in Seattle. I love expressing myself through the clothes I wear, and I share some of my favorite looks on my blog.

My Essential: A fun pullover is essential to the fall/winter wardrobe. It’s a versatile piece, so you could easily pair it with some leather pants or cute jeans and layer it to achieve different looks.

Love this look? See more pieces and ways to wear it in our t.b.d. Top 5 List, and find loads more laid-back, versatile items in our Classic Cool Essentials shop. Check back tomorrow for our second installment!
