Because sometimes words just don’t cut it: emojis. In the days leading up to Fashion Week, Nordstrom and Topshop released a brand-new set that your phone doesn’t have, inspired by looks your wardrobe is about to have.

The trend-besting Brits are the latest (and considering the playful digital angle, potentially the greatest) to offer looks right off the runway, and we’ve got them—the real-deal, buy-now, hot-from-LFW styles, as well as the digital versions for iPhone and Android.

For Sunday’s celebration of fashion immediacy, Topshop creative director Kate Phelan chose Old Spitalfields Market, one of London’s historical and quintessential open-air shopping centers. Backstage before the show, Kate talked about how public markets like Spitalfields and Camden Market were where she and her friends first really discovered fashion. Each season she returns to some archetype of Brit-girl style, and for spring the muse is a young professional with a new wave ’80s edge. A natural progression from the ’70s babes in seasons past and a confident, Sade-loving experimenter—in the office and on Friday night. A girl who thrills at the new. A young Kate Phelan perhaps.
Nordstrom is bringing in seven key looks from three of the collection’s chapters: the soft and pastel floral set, the abstracted animal-print selection and what the program notes called the “feminist and proud” take on LBDs.
So which emoji will you use to suggest, “Let’s do something slightly crazy tonight”? And which one will punctuate a love note?
Which one will you use after the sentence, “Look what I just got!”?
