Diesel’s New York Fashion Week Party Was A Holy Mess of Music by Travis Scott, Mia Moretti, Joe Jonas and More

If there was any doubt that Diesel’s Fashion Week fete was the party of the night, they were dispelled immediately upon arrival at the Academy Mansion on the Upper East Side last night. Hundreds of people thronged the entrance, some waiting an hour to get in, but once inside, were treated to one of the best Fashion Week parties in a minute.

Reminiscent of a recent Steven Klein x NARS event in the Bronx, freaky characters dressed in bondage loitered in various wood paneled rooms, while guests such as Charlie XCX enjoyed the multitude of installations throughout the mansion. Mia Moretti and Margot performed in an upstairs bar, while on the ground floor, Joe Jonas and his new band DNCE treated the crowd to covers of TLC’s “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs,” giving life to guests including Gigi Burris, Atlanta De Cadenet-Taylor and the adorable Beckerman sisters.

A nun passing out emoji Communion 

Leather harness-bound nuns dispensed angel emoji ‘communion’ and a seemingly endless supply of Williamsburg Pizza was passed around throughout the night, which surely helped alleviate a serious Belvedere-induced hangover for many this morning. After a performance by Travis Scott, we bundled up and headed out to find a taxi in the tundra that is NYC. We got one immediately. A great end to a great night!
