Our Bistro Club is perfect for a picnic, or prep everything in advance for a quick and tasty weeknight dinner.
Bistro Club Sandwich
From our Nordstrom Bistro and Bazille
(serves 6)
Roasted Garlic Aioli
2 cups mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, finely minced
3 tablespoons roasted garlic
2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
3/4 teaspoons kosher salt
In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until needed, up to 4 days.
Bistro Club Ingredients (per sandwich)
1 ounce haricot vert
2 slices country bread
2 tablespoons Roasted Garlic Aioli
1/4 ounce baby mixed lettuce greens
5 slices Roma tomato, sliced 1/4-inch thick
3 slices bacon, cooked
3 ounces roast chicken breast, sliced thinly
5 slices avocado, sliced 1/4-inch thick
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add haricot verts and blanch until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Drain and shock beans in ice water until cool. Transfer to a double thickness of paper towel and pat dry.
- Toast the country bread and spread Roasted Garlic Aioli edge to edge on each upward-facing side. Add the baby greens and tomato. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with the bacon, sliced chicken, haricot vert and avocado. Season again with a little salt and pepper. Cover ingredients with the other slice of bread and cut sandwich in half on a slight bias.
- Serve with french fries.
